Aaron Larget-Caplan Celebrates Bargemusic Debut with Concert “Look Bach, Listening Forward”
BROOKLYN, NY - Classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan will celebrate his Bargemusic debut on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 6pm with a concert entitled “Look Bach, Listening Forward”.
Presented by Bargemusic, this exciting program will feature a mix of music by J.S. Bach, John Cage, Spanish composers, and contemporary composers Anthony R. Green, Laurie Spiegel (NYC), Vineet Shende, and a world premiere by Brooklyn composer Daniel Felsenfeld. The selection are from Larget-Caplan’s New Lullaby Project and latest albums, honey cadence, God’s Time – Music of J.S Bach, and Spanish Candy, which will be released in June 2023 on Tiger Turn with Grammy winning producer Kabir Sehgal.

Larget-Caplan, who has gained international recognition for his performances and recordings, seeks to introduce himself to New York City audiences and to showcase the diversity and innovation of contemporary classical music with this concert. Through his artistry and his ability to connect with audiences, Larget-Caplan aims to bridge the gaps between classical tradition, modern experimentation, and various musical traditions.
Thomas Schuttenhelm, director of Network for New Music, praised Larget-Caplan as “the ideal 21st century artist. More than just a guitarist, he is an ambassador of the instrument.” This concert is sure to be an exciting and engaging experience for all who attend.
